FAQS
WHO WILL WATCH MY CHILD?
Licensed daycare providers ... really!
Salem UMC is delighted to partner with the Child Care Support Services(CCSS) office
of Montgomery County. They are connecting with daycare providers to give them
an opportunity to earn their annual volunteer hours.
DO I HAVE TO SIGN UP IN ADVANCE?
Nope! Drop-ins only, actually.
WHAT DO I DO WHEN I GET TO SALEM?
1. Come through the white doors at the front of the building.
2, You’ll see a sign directing you to the nursery upstairs.
3. At the nursery, you’ll fill out a quick informational sheet on your child and verify
pick-up information.
[HINT: You will need your ID for pick-up.]
CAN I LEAVE AND GO SOMEWHERE?
No, we do need you to stay on the premise. Once your child is checked in
you are free to hang out in the library, another classroom, the Alcoholics Anonymous meeting downstairs,
or outside while still on the premises. If you’d like to spend time in the sanctuary,
contact Rev. Emily at emily@salemunitedmethodist.org.
CAN I ACCESS WIFI?
Yep! Our wifi password is posted on the wall of the library. The room is equipped
with a table and chairs. There are a number of classrooms upstairs you can take advantage
of with large tables and plenty of seating.
